Paint Palooza
A Windows 98-style desktop environment with apps built to explore historical color spaces.
An ongoing project, and extension of Color Palooza. After finishing that exploration, we had a bunch of small project ideas for visualizing what we’d found and sharing it with others, both creatively and literally. Paint Palooza is where those ideas are getting built out.
First up is a paint app modeled after Windows 95 Paint, but built to let you switch color spaces and watch the same color shift in real time across different historical perspectives. (Still in progress)
